A lot of people sell "Tiffany" classic settings, but most of them are just a c-clamp with 6 straight prones.

The real Tiffany classic setting, as seen here on Tiffany.com, http://www.tiffany.com/expertise/diamond/rings/combination.asp? is a complete ring with a head. It''s a U, not a V between the prones, and each prone is an upside down Y.

Where can I find the Tiffany setting outside of Tiffany? And how much?

Here is Dirt Cheap's Version. It costs $500 in gold or $775 in platinum.

I have Whiteflash's version. It was under $1000 and I am very pleased with it. They have the cheaper version too but this looks like the one from Tiffany's. I think you will be happy with it.

I bought Superbcert's version of the 6 prong Tiffany setting and love how it's made to have my stone sit real low almost like it's hugging the stone. It's a lovely showcase for a stone I'm proud to own.

When you finally decide on the vendor for the setting for you, please communicate with the person who is setting your stone how you want your ring to look like. I have a hearts and arrows cut stone so I asked the setter to arrange the stone so that the ring's prongs were in between my arrow shafts to accentuate the arrows.

Good luck in your search!
