0.7 CARAT E COLOR VVS1 DIAMOND (OPINIONS)

BGD are exceptionally beautifully. I know Brian would be happy to personally answer any questions for you.
No disrespect to any of my fellow PS participants, but it irks me to no end when people continue to suggest that someone should get lower color or clarity to get larger size. Not everyone cares to have the largest diamond in their budget - some want the finest color/clarity, as in this case.

Just to play devils advocate here, OP said that he and his GF are new to diamonds. If someone wants higher color/clarity for cultural reasons or after seeing diamonds IRL and realizing they are color sensitive, then that's totally fine. But I think someone new making a choice of such high color and clarity based on wanting "beauty on paper" is a mistake.

Another option if you are looking for education is Jonathan at Distinctive Gem. I’ve been working with him recently to buy a new stone and he’s super helpful and will answer all your questions. He will get you the best diamond for your budget.

My original engagement ring was a color E in a 0.67 size. Let me tell you something. My husband bought this diamond in this color Bc the salesperson sold him on the color and clarity. However any seasoned diamond owner will tell you that at this small of a size, the color is insignificant at I or below. Now if you were looking at a 1.2+ Carat then yes it may be worth buying a diamond with color at top of mine. But at this size the color really isn’t going to be distinguishable.
I have been married 5 years now and have always wanted a bigger diamond. I’d be hard pressed to find any one who would prefer a smaller size for indistinguishable color. My husband agreed to an upgrade and said if he knew better back then he would’ve spent that money on size/cut and not color. Ive been in the process of searching for a ACA from white flash for my upgrade but it left me feeling funny about my original diamond as I didn’t know what to do with it. I ended up putting it into a new setting for occasional wear (I hated my original setting but that’s another topic for another day) but I’m still planning on a new ACA for my upgrade.
Long story short-make sure she’s absolutely sure she prefers better color (which won’t be distinguishable to the eye) vs bigger size. And go see for yourself some diamonds in person to compare color clarity cut

That's true!. Some people must have a D/IF stone.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

That's a perfectly proportioned diamond right there and the advanced images prove that it has superior light performance!

Wonderful stone. Put it on hold before someone else buys it

Found this, as it's probably amongst the cleanest VS2 diamonds I've seen so far. It's right about 0.2mm bigger in diameter, which is noticable to the naked eye when compared side by side.

No worries if it's not what you are looking for - I did read read your previous comments about wanting super high clarity for personal reasons, which is A-OK.
