Hello All,

I wanted to know what you all thought about this diamond.

its a 0.92ct, F, SI2 and Ideal cut. It has EX polish and symmetry, with faint fluorescence.
The measurements are 6.21 - 6.24 x 3.86mm.

Table is 58% , Depth is 62.0% Girdle is 3.5% (Medium-slightly thick) No cutlet.
Crown angle is 36.0 degrees (15.0%) and Pavilion is 41.0 degrees (43.0%)
It is eye clean.
Price - $4,190.00

It is going on a 4 stone engagement band with a .40 total ct weight.

what do you all say?
Thank you!

I'm still a beginner so definitely let one of the experts chime in, but that seems to be a steep crown and pavilion angle combination for a round brilliant. Don't think it would make AGS ideal if graded there. Make sure to check it on the HCA tool and get idealscope images because with those angles I wouldn't be suprised to see it leak some light. What grading certificate does it have?

Edit: Just ran HCA and that one scores a 5.5 with only a fair rating for light return. Probably a pass.

It comes with a GIA report. I did already purchase it, so now it's a matter if it's worth the return in search for a better stone. It is from Blie Nile.

anyone else??

I'd return it. That is not a good angle combination and you can do much better. A rule of thumb that can make your search easier is to look for crown angles between 34-35.0 and pavilion angles 40.6-41.0. (Depth no more than 62.3)

Post your choices here before ordering a new stone.
