1.0 ctw Cross That Started it All!

About a year and a half ago I was in the local mall and saw a Going out of Business Sale in a jewelery store and wandered in. Keep in mind I had some gold jewelery but no diamonds other than my engagement ring from 1983. Well to make a long story short, I no longer wear that engagement ring Back to the story, I wandered in the store and saw this diamond cross and we (new Mr. Charleston) bought it.
This was my gateway diamond.
After purchasing this diamond cross, I googled "diamonds" and found this website and the obsession began!
I was a virtually a diamond virgin before finding this website
This little cross led to the pave ring, that led to the 7 stone band that led to the OEC earrings, etc. etc. (posting all soon!).
Stats: 1.0 ctw, Colour G/H, SI1 - SI2 (as far as the clarity goes, let's just say that the first time I looked at it with the loope that I bought we will just say it is obvious this was my gateway diamond but on a necklace it is fine ). I don't have any neck shots, only the one I did on the flower

That is a beautiful cross! My crosses are my favorite pendants. You were so fortunate to have only bought one piece of diamond jewelry before you discovered PS! Some of us made a lot more questionable purchases before finding PS!

(I know you may not want to specify this, but do you live near Charleston?)

Congratulations!! It all starts somewhere. I agree with you. It's been an amazing journey, thus far, and it's faaaaaar from over. (my poor DH) And PS has made it very exciting.

I don't know if you are aware of the thread about crosses in Jewelry Pieces, but I would love it if you would also post this photo and any other photos you might want to take (neck shots?) in that thread as well. Junebug, Aprilbaby, LLJsmom - Thank you! Yes, here I was thinking "hmmm, that is a pretty diamond cross", little did I realize it was the beginning of an addiction.
