I know that when we were looking at diamonds, we kept hearing and reading that strong blue fluorescence, especially in any stone where the color is better than a K or L will look cloudy or oily. That's why a lot of diamonds with strong blue fluorescence are actually cheaper than ones without it because it is considered a "flaw" in the diamond. However, when my (now) fiance were looking at diamonds, we LOVED the look of fluorescence in a diamond and were determined to have one! We did our research, trust me, and it was SUPER worth it!
The stats of the Diamond are:
1.13 Carat
G Color
VS2 Clarity
Ideal Cut
Excellent Polish
Excellent Symmetry
I wanted to let people know that fluorescence in a diamond is NOT a bad thing! I don't know why jewelers are so against it. We could not find a single one in town when we were looking, our only option was to order it online because all jewelers said that they wouldn't carry fluorescent diamonds in their store...anyway, enough talking...
Here are some pics!
