I''m rather color sensitive, to the point where i can start seeing body color in an H colored .42ct rb. However, I just fell in love with this GIA grated K colored pear w/ strong blue fluor. I didn''t want to mention it earlier, and was throwing the idea of resetting my current pear... but i just can''t stop thinking about this stone!!
It was loose, and it didn''t appear nearly as tinted as a J colored princess I saw, and it definitely didn''t appear any more tinted than the J rb next to it. Granted, the J rb had no fluorescence, while the K pear had strong blue. Surprisingly, the color didn''t bother me. For some reason, color only bothers me in rb, squares, and marquises. I''m fine with them in pears and cushions.
Questions:
1) will it look more tinted once set in WG?
2) am i crazy for considering trading my E colored pear for it? it was so pretty and really inexpensive (sold as second-hand for $1800).
3) would you give up a .61ct E Vs2 pear for a 1.18 K VS2 pear?
