1.20 cushion cut halo

My SO finally popped the question and here is the ring. I don't have all the specifics yet but ill share what i do know. I'm suppose to take the ring back to have the center stone set but i decided against it. Long story short my SO couldn't pay of the ring completely in time for it to be made by the day he wanted to propose in the way he wanted to. So my stone is set In a halo that was made for another stone that marisa perry had ready to sell. In order to accommodate the time crunch they set it and gave him the option of bringing it back but I love it as is and it just adds to the charm behind the story in my opinion lol!!! Ill post a link to the proposal...

Its still the same setting but the halo wasn't made by hand for my specific stone! I am absolutely in love with it!! It sparkles like crazy and the stone faces up whiter than i thought it would. I was scared the platinum setting would make the stone appear warmer. Its to bad i can't seem to get a good picture. At first i thought about changing it but i love it and can't part with it to be Re-set.

It's very pretty and it looks like it fits from the very away shot.

I know it makes it more special but if I had to pay the same price ... I would want the halo to be made specifically for my stone. If it is cheaper because it is not "custom" but still fits, I would be totally fine!
