Is spinel hard enough for daily wear? Beautiful ring.

@sunflowerstate on the Mohs scale it has a hardness of 7.5 - 8. Diamond has a hardness of 10. Sapphire and ruby are a 9 I believe. A Spinel in my opinion, mind you I am not a gemstone expert, is one of the harder gemstone's. Though of course not the hardest. Any gemstone experts please chime in The nice thing about this ring is that with it having a halo around it, it is pretty well protected. That helps! Thank you, I think the spinel and the ring are beautiful too.
One thing I would say with regard to daily wear in general. It depends on what that means to the individual. I don't wear my rings to bed, I don't shower in them, I am aware of how I open the oven door, how I clap, and how tightly I grab the steering wheel. If I worked out, I wouldn't with any of my rings on. No cooking, cleaning, or gardening. Some people wear their rings all of the time, I do that only with my Tiffany 18k yellow gold wedding band. Mostly because I don't want to risk damaging my settings. I would be more careful with any gemstone compared to a diamond.

Can you wear it daily, yes if you follow certain perimeters as mentioned above.

I so love this ring! I think this looks a lot better than the setting I wonder if it might have been inspired by. It's so pretty!!
