1.68 OMC/OEC in Platinum

It is very pretty! Is it too late for a return? Only a week, will JBEG work with you?

Exactly what I was thinking.

It's lovely- id try to return :)

I initially had another stone on layaway and then due to some life circumstances changing, JbEG was *wonderful* in working with me and allowing me to choose this ring instead. Because of that, I can only return for store credit or consignment - and I think now only consignment. I thought I'd try the resale market first to see how that goes. As I said, I'm just not falling in love with it and having a lot of conflict internally about needing to do other things right now. Someday the timing will be perfect, though :)

JbEG has been absolutely amazing throughout my entire journey, though, and I'd not hesitate to ever go to them again for anything. Erica is such a nice lady and a wonderful resource.

It's a great stone

This is now tentatively sold, pending payment :appl:

Congrats! I hope it goes through :appl:

Congratulations! I hope it works out for you.

Relisted *again* ... it goes to JbEG for consignment on Monday. It can be purchased directly from me for $375 less than it will be able to bought there until then :)

Can you put a link to the jbEG listing here?

Absolutely, once there is one. Erica is supposed to be taking new pics of it this weekend and putting it up shortly.

Sorry it fell through.

Thanks, me too. I learned some valuable lessons about selling on the secondary market through this experience, though, so if there's a next time I will hopefully know what not to do LOL

And I hope someone finds it and falls in love, it really is a cute little stone and I think I ran across a post here from someone who may have been one of it's owners at one time, that was rather cool!

Is there a link that shows description and photos of this diamond? Thanks.

I'm still waiting on Erica @ JbEG to get the new pics done and get it on her site, but I just sent her an email telling her several people have now asked about it. I hope to hear back from her soon, and will definitely post a link and pics as soon as I hear back. Thanks for y'all's patience!

The weather in Seattle didn't cooperate for a new photo shoot this weekend, so for now Erica is using the pictures of it when it was set. She will get some new photos of it loose as soon as she can.

Here's the page of loose diamonds for sale, it's between the 1.60 and the 1.73. http://jewelsbyericagrace.com/loose_antique_and_estate_diamonds

You can see the gallery of photos here: http://jewelsbyericagrace.smugmug.c...amond/19916643_d3n8SN#!i=1567563063&k=XtrKZ49

Thanks for those who have expressed interest in seeing it, if you are interested further, Erica and Grace's contact info is on the main page of the site :)

I owned this diamond and loved it. Still love it. Sold it for an upgrade that I adore but I do miss the 1.68 OMC. It's got lots of personality and sparkle. To me it represents what an old cut is all about. If I could, I'd buy it back in a minute. But of course, I've always wanted to have my cake and eat it too!

Yep, you are who I thought it was! It was so funny, one night I was bored and just cruising old threads on STMB and ran across your upgrade thread. I then started searching your old threads. You'd never specifically shown this stone, but from the specifics and timelines, plus what I could find at JbEG, I thought it had to be you! I'm glad you chimed in, since you had it far longer than I did.

FWIW, once I unset it and saw it loose, it became that much more stunning to me and I greatly reconsidered keeping it. At that point I'd already set the wheels in motion and couldn't, but I did think about trying ...
