Sold 1.69ct Mahenge Garnet step-cut (by Jeff White)

Selling spectacular 1.69ct Mahenge Garnet precision-cut by Jeff White (J.L White Fine Gemstones).

Per Jeff, "This bright garnet is cut in a classic emerald design and exhibits that beautiful peachy color that has become synonymous with Mahenge Garnet."

I don't have the depth dimensions but it is very well-proportioned with a nice crown and smaller table - 7.04 v 5.79mm - and has never been set.

It is a beautiful saturated clear and bright peach in almost all lighting conditions, shifting to a slightly warmer peach only in low light.

I have such a backlog of setting projects ahead of this that I decided to list this stunner; if you want a peachy precision-cut step-cut, by a master cutter no less, this is your chance!

I'll plan to add some of my own photos this weekend - I moved recently and my good camera is still somewhere in the sea of boxes but I am determined to wade through and find it. I'll update the LT/DB listings with any new photos and update you guys here too.

Marymm, that is a generous offer, but it was not my intention in posting that it was out of my budget! I'm fairly new around here and had seen plenty of other people mention things being beyond their budget so I hope you didn't feel "strong armed" into a discount or that your price wasn't reasonable.
