Reading your posts it’s like reading an adventure or detective story with a happy ending at the end.
Thanks for sharing your historical jewels and your suspenseful path to success!
This diamond is wonderful, lemony bright cheery perfection, the tiny table and high crown and faceting are gorgeous and flea bites you mention serve to remind us of a craftsmanship that withstands history. I love the Edwardian setting, that engraving! those single cut melee! A beautiful match. Well done!
While I was waiting for the setting to come I had toyed around with the idea of a three stone with my studs. A backup in case the setting wouldn’t work. I think it wouldn’t have exactly worked because the yellow diamond is wonkier than my perfect (imho) studs, but it think it’s only a matter of time before I go down that road with another oec lol. Dont be mad I blurred my fingies my nails were atrocious that day and I had no plans of showing them off but I thought you all might like to see.
Nice! So if you go down the three stone road would you look for warm buttery stone?
I will. Thanks!
Super love the color and the contrast of the center diamond against the white diamonds throughout the setting. It’s amazing that you were able to put that diamond and setting together, they were definitely meant to be.
