10 stone eternity ring - why not?? F-G colour OK

In my long quest to find an eternity/anniversary ring, I have decided to go with Signed Pieces and go for a 10 stone shared prong brilliant cut ring.

Now, I have seen lots of 5 stone , 7,9, and 11 stone, any reason why no one has a 10 stone ring. From my perspective the ring is to celebrate 10 years of marriage so it seems a fitting symbol. But am I missing something, as to why no one has any????? Just want to make sure before I take the plunge and order that I am not overlooking something obvious ( I have never ever ordered via the internet before, let alone a big ticket item so I am a wee bit apprehensive allready

Also, can anyone comment on Facets F-G colour - are they white and sparkly and a good F-G or is it worth it to go up to E-F?

Odd numbers always look better. 2 and 4 is very awkward. 1, 3, 5 are classics. 6 may look funny if someone is quick enough to group it into 3 and 3. >6, it doesn't matter since most people won't be to count how many stones there are. Also, another reason for odds is that when it is centered with a solitaire, there will be equal numbers of stones on both sides. I suspect 9 and 11 are just keeping with the odd numbers tradition. F/G is fine.

Thanks JulieN, hadnt thought about the solitaire issue (thats what I mean about overlooking the obvious

), but in my case I plan to wear it on my right hand - as for sentimental reasons I cant see us upgrading or changing the style of my engegement ring - so the right hand is the best place for my anniversary band for me.

If you think of the center stone of any ring as being the middle stone, then you''d want an equal number of stones flanking that center stone on either side, hence the odd numbered stones. But at 10 stones, I dont think it would matter all that much and depending on your ring size, the side stones might fall below the finger line and you wont see them all at the same time anyway, in which case, 10 stones wouldn''t look off.

F/G is fine. I have G stones in my eternity band next to my F. They are ideal cut so all you''ll see is icy white.

As others have mentioned and odd number is good because the ring will have a "center stone." F/G will be absolutely fine, I have a 5-stone band with H/I''s and it looks very white.
