Congrats, what a beautiful stone and ring, well done!!!! I am totally jealous she has such tiny fingers - they make everything look massive which is great!!!!
Internally Flawless!!! Wow - that stone is such a beauty - you did really well!!! Congrats! I never heard of that ring size, btw! Maybe 3.5, yes, but 2.5?! wow!
Two bits of advice...never resize a ring smaller in the cooler months since fingers tend to swell in the heat. And, the e-ring will fit more snugly when a wedding band is worn with it, so I also would not resize for that reason. My rings are loose in the winter and fit nicely in the summer. You can always get sizing beads if necessary, but I would not resize the shank at this point.
Thank you for this advice. Never thought of it that way. And my lady has no clue either since she doesn't wear rings. This is actually the first since it's rare to find her size.
Don't resize it and make it oval - look at pics of sizing bead here - they take a little getting used to, but I have them in all my top-heavy rings and I love them!
That is smashing! I wear a 7.5 ring. So I'd need about a 3.5 carat diamond to achieve the same look. You were so smart to fall in love with a woman with petite hands!
Gorgeous diamond in a classic setting --- and a 2.5 finger??? oh good heavens!! I could only dream of such lovely tiny fingers!! That 1ct looks like twice its size on her hand!!
Congratulations on your choice of diamond/setting and on your engagement!!
