Hello,

I am new to this site (as of today) but I have been reviewing the forums as a non member and it has been a great resource, so thanks for everyone's help already.

My wife and I are expecting and I have been looking for diamond stud earings as a pushing present. I happened to find this deal randomly today:

It looks like a great deal, but the cut quality is not listed. Based on what I have read I have asked if the cut is either "ideal" or "excellent" but I have not heard back yet.

Originally, I was thinking of going for 2 ctw, but this just seemed like a great deal I don't know if there is much of a difference on the ear between a .75 and 1 ct diamond....

I wanted to know if any on the forum have any feedback/advice for a rookie like me. I haven't purchased a diamond in over 5 years for an engamement. Let me know if you see any reason for not pulling the trigger.
