2.1 carat RB finally set - what do you think?

Hello PSers! I have been looking for the right RB stone for a couple of years; I found one at last and thought I'd share. I love my pear diamond, it certainly stands out in a crowd, but nothing sparkles and has the light/dark flashes like a round (I don't know how to describe the way a round diamond gets dark at some angles/lighting). Anyway, I took it to my local jeweler and he had a Simon G setting that I loved right in the case - and it fit. Thanks for looking!

Specs: 2.1 ct AGS 000 SI1 D color

Thank you all! I'm in love with my new rings. My husband thinks I'm a bit nuts, but after 27+ years of marriage he knows my fondness for rocks. Here are a couple of handshots; in the one photo, the diamond goes dark. I like it, but it's kind of strange. Can any of you very diamond-savvy people tell me why this happens?

Thanks! I don't really know. I just liked the design. My sister rides; she would probably call them stirrups. I was just lucky that I liked the setting and it fit perfectly. Just one of those things..
