Congratulations! I think the new stone is a great upgrade (size wise). It's a substanstial size jump so you won't even miss coverage going from a 3-stone to a large center. I think it'll look fabulous!

thankyou so much everyone for getting so excited for me ! i'm definitely psyched !!! :appl:

i just dropped off my stone at Michael C Fina on Friday and they confirmed with me that they would ship it out on Saturday first thing (yesterday)... the ETA of the ring, as told by Michael B is 10/28-10/29 (overnight shipping to the Michael C Fina in NYC ) !! so just about 10 days or so !!! I will be calling the store to confirm shipment tomorrow... wish me luck!

count down officially begins!!! :D

funny you asked because the camera i'm using is just a simple $250 Canon D-10 camera that we bought for the honeymoon when we went snorkeling in Hawaii (it's waterproof) ! ::)

it's as sports camera and thus a little bulky in size (as compared to paper thin camera these days)... but i really like it as the automatic feature determines lighting situations and macro zooms (onto the diamond) very well !

So, I know you're re-setting to upgrade to a bigger stone (your stone is beautiful, BTW), what did you not like about your 3 stone ring? I was actually thinking of upgrading to a 3 stone ring.

every day is getting longer and longer !! :((
