This is a beautiful royal blue, natural sapphire from Madagascar.. It was purchased from Tan at VVS1gem. He has an exceptional reputation! The stone measures 6.1mm x 8.5mm x 5.5mm, great presence on the hand. I'm adding a link to the purchased ebay link so you can see the stone:

The only distraction a potential buyer may be concerned about is the zoning that is shown on the video of the stone. I spoke at length with Tan regarding this. He assured me that the zoning was not visible face up. He said the stone had the gorgeous rich blue color shown in the still photo. He was right!! It is a very rich, but not dark, royal blue color. The stone is eyeclean, and it has been heated (which is a universally accepted treatment for sapphires).
I've been waiting to find the perfect setting for this stone, but am choosing to list it now in order to raise funds to send my daughter on a choir trip to NYC this spring.
If sold for full price, I will cover insured shipping within the US. I will accept returns if buyer is not happy. I know how colored stones are a personal purchase.
I will be adding my own pictures as soon as possible.
