it has my vote!

Oh definitely the first one, that is amazing, Demetrios is one of my favorite designers too.
Congrats!!

My vote goes to the first dress, it''s a wow!!

thanks guys i think it looks even better on!!

I''m going to go against the consensus and say if you can pull off that second dress, then it has my vote. That is one gorgeous gown, and if you have the figure for it--wear it! Please! I wanted a dress like that but they did not suit my body, and I ended up falling in love with a poufy tulle concoction, instead.

Do you have any pictures of yourself in these gowns? Dress #2 has my vote!

the second one the lace is def a wow on as well but i feel like the first one give wow a beautiful bride!! and when else in my life will i be able to wear a ball goan?? however the other one is also a wow and noboby is expecting me to wear somthing like that!! the ladies in the store were wow''d by both also kept asking me how many churnches a day i do lol do you guys think getting two dresses is just crazy??

i have pic of the sec dress but have no clue how to post them i have them in email. i

Definitely two very different styles, but what''s great is that you found 2 you love, so you can''t go wrong!

Personally, I''m not a fan of pick-up or scalloped skirts (dress #1 seems to be in between), but I love a nice mermaid shape, so it''s #2 for me!

I am also not a fan of the pick-up skirts, but that dress is gorgeous! I also agree, though, that if you can pull of that second gown, I say GO FOR IT!

I would love to see you in both of them, though!

lets see if this works dress 2

I was gonna say two and then I saw the photo of you in it. So now, I''m DEFINITELY gonna say #2!!!!!

You look amazing in it!!!

thanks guys with dress number two they order it in the legnth you need, so i will not need any alterations!! i found both dresses at macys and they were about 1400 my friend works at a bridal store and all of the dresses are 30% off!! ill keep u guys posted (i wish i had a pic of the other one)

#2!! #2!!! #2!!!!

It is absolutely beautiful and looks great on you.

The first one is pretty, but I really think that the pickups are going to look dated very shortly.

Unless these are some super special priced deal, I think you should keep looking. Being engaged only a week, you haven''t had much time yet. The dress you posted of yourself does look nice, but if I were you I''d want to try more on so I was REALLY sure.

Have fun!

I vote for the sheath dress! By a mile! It looks great on you and it''s classic... not too trendy, very Holywood Glam. But I confess that I dislike floofy pick-up skirts in general.

I far and away prefer dress #2. The pickups on dress #1, in my opinion, are already a quite dated style and will only become more so in the coming years. They were a BIG fad 2-3 years ago, and in a few years I have a feeling we''ll think of them in the same context as we think of poufy sleeves of the ''80s wedding dresses (think princess Di).

However, if you''re really sold on that look, don''t let that fact dissuade you. I just like to encourage people toward more timeless gowns, which #2 is, so that you''ll still think it''s just as beautiful when looking at your wedding album 30 years down te road.

just going to echo the previous handful of comments... pickups are just not a very sophisticated or elegant look - and they scream 2006. if you''re very young, though, maybe they suit you. dress #2, on the other hand, is much more elegant and classic. depends what you''re going for.

Love #2 hands down! But then again, I''m not a pickup-dress-style kinda girl.

Both dresses are very nice, though I am biased toward more "classic" styles like #2. You may also want to consider your venue while making your decsion.

I love #2 on you! But that said I am a pick-up skirt kinda gal. And don''t have a problem with #1, but seeing you in dress #2 and seeing how nice it is, well I really like it! Maybe if you had a pic of you in Dress #1 I''d change my mind.

About the pick-up skirt thing, I didn''t even realize it was a big trend before, I guess it''s cause wedding dresses weren''t on my radar back then. But when I started looking after I got engaged I was really drawn to them to some of them. And I think a dress with that kind of detail, without going over the top, is not that dated of a look. oh well, I guess I''m biased since I have pick up skirt dress too.

In the end it''s all about choosing what you want to wear that day and what makes you feel good! :D

Island Dreams: i know ive only been engaged for 2weeks but the wedding is in 8months therefore i need to order a dress

Let''s see if this works. Here''s a side by side view of both dresses, for easier viewing.

Oops, sorry Bella! I didn''t read far enough down before posting both dresses. If I had, I would have seen that gorgeous dress on you. I love it!!! I''m personally not a fan of pick up skirts, and I love the way the second one looks.
