These are the last of the loose pearl stash for now. Sage and basil because the other half is making Thai noodles at the moment and the place smells fabulous

Two gemmy Tahitians purchased in 2020 from Andrew Moline for my multicolour bracelet (PS thread below). These two pearls are extras that I wound up not needing, so they're full-drilled (0.8mm) and the drill holes and surrounding area are pristine. These pearls have never been used and are in new condition.

Luster:
The darker pearl (Sage) is the single most lustrous Tahitian I've got. When I've listed my preloved Tahitians in the past, this is the pearl that I've used as my "10/10 on luster" control. The lighter one (Basil) isn't far behind at all, I'd call it 9/10.
Surface:
Both pearls are very clean - one blemish each that doesn't catch the eye at all (see photos). Basil has light "nacre growth lines" that are visible on close (like, very close) inspection.
Colour:
Body is a rich green on both. Basil is a bit brighter to the eye - partially thanks to having a lighter body. However, these pearls don't have strong overtone - those red/pink "eyes" only show up bright and clear in the lightbox. Photos are true to life. Since I bought them as gem quality I'm listing them that way, but IMO "gem" Tahitians should ideally have both excellent luster and strong overtone. So IMO these pearls are "super gemmy" on the luster front but "non-gem" in colour.

My purchase was a "buy the lot to get the pearls you need" situation, and my total spend averaged across all the pearls I purchased ended up right around 1k per pearl. I'm obviously not going to ask anyone else for that much though! I'm pricing these according to Pearl Paradise's loose Tahitian pre-sale retail - seems like a reasonable pricepoint since these pearls have nice clean velvety bodies and they're way more lustrous than Pearl Paradise's generic inventory would be.
So...
Basil: 10.15 x 10.10 x 10.06 mm, $280 USD
Sage: 10.39 x 10.40 x 10.42 mm, $280 USD
Price is for PP F&F or Zelle and I'll take care of shipping within the US.
