in my travels i have come across this 20ct OEC priced around the cool 1 million dollar mark. i took a moment to enjoy the most fantastic diamond i am ever likely to touch and also probably the only time in my life i will hold a million dollars in the palm of my hand. it was fairly warm but a good amount of fire and sparkle. heavy too! i could imagine getting rsi wearing this regularly. talk about first world problems!

anyone want to lend me a million?

Ummm so is that size of stone wearable as a ring? Just curious as you said it was heavy! IMO, if it were to be set, it'd have to be as a ring so I could stare at it all day.

Gemfever i can promise you if it was dark under the table i did not notice at all. i think the only thing going through my mind was mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmyummy. and there was plenty of white and colored sparkles

in terms of wearing it in a ring... it would be pretty heavy and i thinks it would sit extremely high off your finger. i think it would be doable but wouldn't you have Beyonce to pull it off and have occasions to wear it? wear it publicly i mean, because i for one would be wearing it 100% of the time i was at home so i could admire it at all times

Whoa!!! SO amazing! :shock: The ultimate ringpop lol. I wonder how many mm's it is? Even though I wouldn't want to wear it (not even sure it would fit on someone's finger :cheeky: ) I"m really astounded by its beauty and rarity. Thanks for showing it to us!

Gulp! :shock: That's INSANE!!! I've never seen a stone that size outside of a museum, much less held it in my hand!! I would have been shaking so badly, I probably would have dropped it !! Of course, at 20 carats, it would have been easy to find!!

Perfect coverage of the whole HAND, forget the finger. Hand coverage!! Definitely not for someone that ever has to do dishes!
 
How neat to see/touch such a huge diamond! Any history behind that stone?
 
HUUGE! It would go well in a crown.. only a queen or Liz Taylor would manage to pull off that baby..

Personally, I never wear my 20 carat diamond. For one, a diamond this size feels very, very cold and in the Winter it makes my entire finger feel frostbitten. Then, gloves don't come with a bump out for a stone this size. I've thought about cutting a hole in the finger of the glove, but just havent gotten around to doing that yet. And finally, there's the problem of the blinding glare that comes off the diamond and it interferes with the Chauffer driving the car. :bigsmile: :naughty: :rodent:
