Well this is the last sale I can see me doing for a long time. I would say I have saved the best for last. The diamond- pearfection. The setting- still my favorite of CVB's and that is saying something! This truly is the ring that dreams are made of...
The diamond- Has a GIA certificate. I have a picture of it and will pay for and get a new cert immediately for the buyer. It is a 2ct L VS2 chubby pear. She has strong blue fluorescence making her whiter in Caysie's and my opinion. The measurements of the diamond are 9.64 x x7.65 x 3.35. The diamond is listed on the certificate as being pear mixed cut. Please see photo of her GIA cert for additional details. This pear is a glitter-bomb and Caysie so accurately calls it, and I love how the diamond sits in the setting. You get to see all of her facets and chunkiness! Gorgeous!
I am going to provide a picture of CVB's listing of the diamond so you can see her unset and also so you can read Caysie's description of her. It is impressive to say the least!
The setting- the Spring Gulch! This was the very first setting of Caysie's that I fell in love with, and I fell hard! From the engraving on the halo that sparkles like diamonds in the sun. The beautiful antiquing. To how comfortable she is to wear, simple but so beautiful, unique, and special. I did the shank a bit different than Caysie did the original. Her's was rounded, mine is flat. The black lines add a bit of dimension to the band too. It is a size 7 and can be sized. It was originally a size 8, I lost weight and had it sized down to a 7. There is a faint line in the back of the shank that I believe must be from the sizing. I would hope that could be polished out if that bothered you. The setting is 14k yellow gold with antiquing. I am the original owner. It has been worn 5 times at most. It is in excellent condition.
Measurements of halo: 12.2mm x 10.5mm
Measurements of shank: 2.5mm and a depth of 1.5mm.
Price is 6,000 This price is like getting a discount on the diamond and the 3,000 setting for free!
There is a video included on the Loupetroop listing. Thanks for looking!
