Hurray! I'd like to share with you my new joys: New diamond stud earrings. (1.51 + 1.53 = 3.04ctw) Hope you like them!

Thank you so much for your kind words LLJsmom, AprilBaby, lanakane, MissGotRocks, missy! I am so excited to wear these babies everyday These are my third pairs of diamond studs earrings (my avatar shows another pair). I have to say that I love these babies the most (not because they are the newest). They are not heavy at all, just right for my earlobes. I was debating between the dangles and studs, 3 prongs vs 4 prongs, basket vs martini, etc. so I did a ton of research. Now that I am glad I go for the stud look, which never goes out of style: young and old, long and short hair, formal or casual occasions, they fit in all! They are stunning but subtle at the same time (unlike the jackets which make me feel a little too formal)

Regarding the diamond specs, I forgot to mention that they are both H SI1 eye clean, GIA triple excellent ideal proportion (it took me 2 weeks, reviewing at least 100 GIA certificates (size from 1.3ct to 2ct), finalizing to 7 diamonds of the same specs (1.5x ct each) to pick these 2 babies out. It is rather funny that they are the first two diamonds that I looked at- Confirmed them as the final choices after seeing the other 5 ) (ideal proportion cut grade proves itself partly when they both become completely dark in front of a powerful light source as you can see in 2 of the photos), no florescence.

EricM, marcy, Resonance.Of.Life, Dancing Fire, Thank you. I really enjoy wearing them. The studs are very beautiful and so brilliant. I am very happy. Will post more pictures (the good ones) if time allows.

EricM, I bought these at a local place. If this is your first time buying studs, don't opt for the preset studs, and always look for GIA/AGS certified diamonds. I recommend you use the HCA to run the specs of the diamonds, don't buy expensive jewelry on the spot. Always spend time thinking and negotiating . Good luck with your hunt.

Stunning!!! I think H SI1 are perfect specs for studs, that's what I have as well. Now if mine would grow to 1.50ct each

I've made a video of these earrings in a windy day. In this video, the wind plays with these babies and makes them rock back and forth while the sun light gives some touch to their beauty. Pretty neat!
