I listed this stone a couple of years ago and decided to pull it, but I've still not set it and I've still got no ideas for it, so... Anyone interested? This stone is new and has never been set.
I *love* the colour: It's a really bright and velvety strawberry red. Common rhodonite is a more pale pink/purple with lots of inclusions, like VCA's 2021 holiday pendants - it's unusual to find rhodonite in facetable quality. This specimen is a bit of a specialty find!
I originally paid $562. I'm asking $450, which is 20% off my out of pocket. Price is for PP F&F or equivalent and I'll cover shipping within the US.

Original website listing and photos:
This material is normally significantly included - it's rare to find a specimen that exhibits this degree of transparency. That said, I don't know how the original vendor came up with "VS" clarity. this stone has no black/dark inclusions, just clouds and wisps and feathering that make it look translucent/glowy. In the photo of the underside of the stone you can see that some of the feathering reaches the surface in one corner.
Also of note - this material is soft and needs to be set and worn carefully.
