Stunning ring, Chrono! I've never wanted to get a trillion because I could never figure out how to set it elegantly. This is a stunning setting and your hard work appears to be well worth it.
You know, it belongs on the cover of one of "Masters" books. Such an innovative, unusual design! The phantasy, the amazing attention to details! I have never seen anything like this.
I am so touched that so many in the SMTR are so kind in sharing my excitement and happiness of having the ring completed. It is being shipped today with estimated arrival sometime tomorrow via Fedex. I will attempt hand shots tomorrow, weather and time permitting. I originally wanted it to be done in green gold but without seeing a sample in person, I played it safe and stayed with 18K yellow gold.
That really is a perfect setting for a trillion!! Gorgeous, love the graceful, flowing feel to it...and what a beautiful stone! The color is dazzling...Looking forward to hand shots!
Picture are now ready. I'd like to preface with an apology for the low quality of pictures, compounded with the lack of artistry. It's embarrasing to post these when I see so many beautiful pictures posted here all the time, but a promise is a promise.
Taken indoors, showing the green colour shift. The chrysoberyl was so sparkly that many pictures were merely huge chunks of lighting glare that had to be deleted.
I debated whether to post it or hide it away for eternity because I have not been taking care of my hands. Please ignore the wrinkly skin. Picture taken very early this morning with sunlight streaming through a single window.
Chrono, it's stunning!!! That stone is just to die for, and the setting embraces it perfectly. You got the "swoop" of the prongs just right. I've never seen a trillion look so elegant!!
