Hi! I am selling my yellow asscher sapphire by Jeff White.

The stone is an unbelievably vibrant, perfect sunny yellow, cut to perfection, and at 3.78ct and 7.70mm a perfect size to boot. Although heat treated, it was described by Jeff as one of the finest sapphires he has cut in years. Truly striking with it's color alone, Jeff's step cuts never disappoint, and this stone is no exception.

It might not be her fault a lot of the time LT doesn't actually pass on email messages for whatever reason.... Keep trying.

@mrs-b This stone in your hands is a Dream .) I wouldn't know what to do with a larger step cut at the vivid / deep border, other than sit it on the table in a spot of sunlight & look at the day go by through it ...
 
This is so beautiful. It's the only yellow sapphire to make my jaw drop, ever!
 
@lmyracle - you didn't happen to contact endless_summer, by any chance? I received an email from her yesterday morning, and got back to her asap, but I haven't heard back from her since, so I wondered if someone else had contacted her?

@mrs-b no, I didn't. I wouldn't take it out from under you like that and I hope other PSrs would be just as respectful when it comes to sparkly baubles. I really hope you get that stone and I can't wait to see what you do with it. I hate that you're having such difficulties communicating with @endless_summer though.

No no! I didn't mean to imply that! Truly! I'm just looking for ANYONE who has EVER had contact with endless_summer, especially someone who might have found her difficult to contact. It's now been over 2 days since she emailed me suggesting we try to work something out - and I don't know if it's just me, or her schedule, or what. I was kind of hoping *somebody* might be able to say "oh - I've worked with her before and she travels a lot and is always slow to respond* - but so far nobody is saying anything, and I'm losing hope fast. At worst, I'd like to hear that she no longer wishes to sell it, or has changed her mind, or has sold it elsewhere, or SOMETHING, so I can stop checking my email every 2 minutes.

I'm sorry if my previous post came out sounding anything other than this.

I just wanted to come back to add - I know endless_summer is traveling, as she mentioned it in her email. And I assumed it was for work - which normally implies email accessibility. But it's possible she's somewhere remote on vacation, so I'm trying to stay patient and hope for the best. I wish we'd worked out a communication timeline tho.

I didn't take it that way but more enforcing the point that it'd be shameful for anyone to pull the rug out from someone else's dream. :) I know I've been scared to share vendors in the past for that reason. I never took your post that way. It's all good. I just love that sapphire though. It's gorgeous and I'm sure you're anxious to get your project started. Please make sure to tag me in whatever you end up doing with it!

Hi @mrs-b =)2. It sounds like you are worried so I just wanted to mention that I purchased a stone from her last year and all went very well. She responded to emails quickly and the stone was shipped right away, but all of our communication was done during the work week. Since she mentioned to you she is traveling, it might be keeping her away from email. I hope all works out for you to get this stone! It looks gorgeous!

@mrs-b I’m less accessible via my phone and email when I’m traveling for work than almost any other time. That said, it’s the weekend so I wouldn’t think that would be an issue anymore :(2 I’ve been watching this thread bc I can’t wait to see what you do with it if you get to buy it!

I had contacted her before, and she was very quick and responsive. So as others have said, she's probably a bit slow due to her travels.

In the meantime, I saw this yellow sapphire on IG and thought you might want to have a look. I've purchased from the seller before, and he was very pleasant to deal with.

I'm looking for something a little more yellow, with less orange. And an asscher cut is a definite bonus!
 
With DEEP regret, I think I've largely given up on this idea. It's been 3 days (some on the weekend, and some Monday to Friday) now since I heard, once, from the seller, so I'm guessing she's changed her mind or decided to go a different route. Entirely her right, of course, and it's a stunning gem. I wish I'd heard back from her, tho.

If she changes her mind or gets back to me, I'll happily pick the process back up. But I'm trying to manage my own expectations here and don't want to be needlessly disappointed. So I think it makes most sense to assume at this point that it won't be proceeding.
 
@mrs-b I have noticed this - www - the price & size are something else, but I rarely anything yellow so saturated that some reflections look golden/polen-like

WOW! I'd love to have that! Big price jump, tho, and out of my budget. Will see what happens as time goes by; I'll keep an eye on it and see how I go getting my finances in order.
