3.83 ct Blue Spinel driving off Chrono’s blues

I’ve crossed one more stone off my list with this newest spinel. It is a 3.83 ct lavender to blue colour shifter from Luc Yen, Vietnam and measures 9.84 x 8.09 x 6.61 mm. It has the neatest personality that goes from blue to violet outdoors and shifts to lavender indoors. It also has the craziest dispersion I’ve ever seen in a spinel with multicoloured sparkles shooting out everywhere. The dispersion is mostly pink and violet but I also get yellow and red too.

These are hand shots showing the different personalities of the spinel. The first one is in the shade, so it’s the darkest here.

Its lovely! Your lavender/violet picture makes the spinel seem like the color of an electric wildflower. Its always been one of my favorite colors.
