Hi, everyone: For the longest time, I wanted an eternity type band for my right hand. I tried a diamond one but it was too uncomfortable. I looked for rubies (this is 2 years ago) and came up with nothing. I wanted red rubies and those are so hard to come by. I am pleased to announce that on Monday, I found my 3 stones. They are almost a carat each. The 2 match and 1 is slightly larger. the color is red red red and they are from Gemfix. I know that matching color is really hard so I am not going to care so much about the marginal size difference.

They are so amazingly red and gorgeous. I wear a ruby and diamond ring on my left hand. I will wear the 3 on my right hand. The plan is to convert these three stones into earrings and a pendant in the future. Right now, I am just spending the money on the rubies.

Do you think a ring with the 3 stones would look ok for now? (for a year or so?)

Congratulations on finding them! Long search and great perseverence for a super outcome. They look very nice in your pic -- would love to see closer-up photos. From what I can see, they will go together just great & make a beautiful ring. How exciting!!

Another picture. I will add one more. Thank you, it was a long search. I saw them and knew immediately that they were the ones.

I also want to congratulate you. Nice rubies are hard to find and a three stone ruby ring will be amazing.

Wow, they look amazing! What a wonderful red color.

Thank you. Here is my engagement ring. I had hoped to find rubies to match this one in color and I came pretty close.

I am so excited to share this with you. :)

Congratulations on finding the amazing suite of rubies! I can't wait to see the finished product!

I think a 3 stone ruby ring will be gorgeous - those stones are lovely - can't wait to see the final product!

Congratulations! What a wonderful find, they should look lovely in a ring until you reset into the desired earring and pendant.

Wow, I LOVE your ring, and the 3 stones you bought are beautiful.

Your 3 new rubies make excellent companions to your current ruby ring. The colour and size difference would bother me though if set as a 3 stone ring together, even if temporarily.

They are lovely stones and will make a fantastic 3 stone ring. Please post pics once you get them set. also your engagement ring is lovely :D

I don't much like rubies usually, but yours are beautiful! and they would be so nice with your engagement ring. that yellow gold really sets off the red beautifully.

I love rubies, and yours are lovely!

I suggest a five stone ring, with a pair of diamonds between the rubies. I would envy that, big time.

Can you tell us which ones you purchased from Gemfix? Tell us the numbers or something? It would help us in matching up his photos with the real life photos you took. This enables everyone to look at his pictures with a little more understanding, and helps other make future purchases.

yes, of course. I got #562. The other one in the center is not on the website.

Yes, agreed. I have been toying with some designs and I think it will turn out ok.

Question: Do you have any pictures like an example for the diamonds between the rubies? I think the diamonds would have to be 1+ carat each. lol!!

Sorry--I am new to this, I think I quoted you multiple times. Yikes!

The color of the 3 stones is the same. In fact, the red matches my ER ruby too. Yes, the size match could be better but I am going with it. A little imperfection almost makes the perfect red color even more beautiful.
