I know i'm getting on your guys nerves but please....need your advice for the last time. I want to replace the spacer band in the middle of my set. What ring should i choose!!! 2mm, heavy dome comfort fit, 1.8mm thick or the 3mm dome comfort fit 1.5mm thick! I'm not so concerned about the width more about the thikness of the ring. For some reason i keep thinking that the 2mm ring would have a thicker, heavier over all apperence! Am i wrong???

for a spacer...definitely 2 mm or less.

Why do you want to replace it?? Knowing that would help.

Agree with slg--2mm or less for a spacer. I understand what you are saying about thickness, though. How thick is your e-ring and eternity band? Ideally the spacer would be less thick (and it probably would be at 1.8mm).

if you want to make your overall a "stacking" set with a purposeful middle ring, then I would get the same height and close to the same width, but if you want it to look discreet spacer then the thinnest in width would be my option.

The middle ring is just a silver ring. I want to replace it witha 14k gold ring because my other two rings are 14k. Both rings are 2mm. i'm going for the stacked look and i do not want to go smaller than 2mm. I don't know what would look the best!! i have seen some pics on this topic http://www.e-weddingbands.com/store/product89665.html . I'm in love with this look!!! This is what i'm going for and i'm not sure if the 3mm band would work as good with my rings due to the size of my center stone.

I'd probably keep it close in width, especially if its one solid metal color. To my eyes, if it was 3mm in width but it had a bunch of filigree work or diamonds, then it would look ok imo, but if anything is solid, my eyes tends to make it appear wider heavier if that makes sense. Unless you were going with knife edge then you get an illusion of smaller width.

Thank you D&T! It makes sense!

sure anytime :wavey: and your set is beautiful! wear it in good health!

I have a 3mm spacer band and It's really beautiful. No problem!

Oh stci!!! Do you have pics of it with your complete set??? I really would like to see it!

I would say 2 mm but you could order both, try them out and then return one or both of them if they're not what you had in mind.

Oh! I like it! Well, i thought i made my mind up and go for the 2mm band. But now i'm not so sure about it anymore!!! Man, this is not easy, or i'm just simply difficult  !

I also vote for 2, but trying them on in a store may help you decide.

What about something like that? Do you guys think it would look nice?

Absolutely! This could be gorgeous!

yes Love it! gives it a little more whimsy than the traditional solid band!

I vote 2. Stci's works because of the style of her ring-it kind of flows over the band so your eyes don't interpret it as 3mm. I LOVE that set, but you're not going to have the same effect with yours.

Ok! Thanks everybody for the advice!!! I made my decision, went and bought a 3mm plain 14k band. the diamonds i'll have set in the ring later on!!! I'm happy with it. I have posted pics for you guys! Sorry bad quality pics from cell phone. Anyway, thanks again!
