It is with a heavy heart that I have had to cancel my trip to the Vegas JCK show this year and the GTG.

My daughter is having a grand daughter for Resa and me, so I am torn between the show that I enjoy as almost an annual vacation and being available to fly to my daughter's side at a moments notice.

So, as much as I am going to miss you all, I must admit that the choice was not really that hard!

We will really miss you. But also celebrate for you. Remember 3 years ago my first Grandchild Eleanor was born (also to Shey) and she was a bit late and came a few hours before my flight to Vegas so i got to see her on the way to the airport!

My grand daughter's first name is Eleanor too. Eleanor Louise Lin. My mother's name was Louise. (Phil has already started calling the baby Ele Lou. Dang I like that man!)

My mom and my daughter were very close and I am deeply honored that they chose to honor my mother this way.

Man... I hope I don't fall asleep. Last time I went to Vegas, I fell asleep at a show and woke up in a panic when they shot fire out of the stage. I may need somebody to throw ice chips at me too. Maybe as much as putting them down my shirt!

I've slept thru KA... it did not hold my attention! The theatre was too dark and warm, with 'woo woo" new age-y music, that after a drink before the show---->>> nap time! I did manage to see the sliding sand event and the artists crawl UP the ropes! but yes, I too sleep thru theatrical events! sad... very sad....
