4 carat August Vintage Emerald Cut Moissanite in DK setting

I’m looking to see if there is any interest in selling my 4 carat AVEC Moissanite. The 9.6x8mm stone is absolutely gorgeous with DEF color...I had it set in a beautiful DK setting. I love this ring..but my husband purchased me a diamond emerald cut so I wouldn’t be wearing this as much. It’s too beautiful to only be taken out occasionally. If there is interest..I will create a listing on Loupe Troop. I’m asking $1850..firm. I paid $2400 for the stone..plus the custom setting David made me for this beautiful stone. If it doesn’t sell then I’ll just keep it...I am conflicted about selling it anyway...

What a classic beautiful ring! You just gave me an idea. This may be a good way for me to have a large EC...someday down the line I can get a Moissanite.

It’s so beautiful @diamondsR4eVR It’s a sparkle bomb that I can’t seem to catch in photos. I only removed it because I was getting low ball offers. I am firm in the price because I paid way more than I was asking. I don’t need to sell it..so I took it off..If you or anyone is interested on PS just let me know..

I actually just helped a friend buy the sister to this stone off loupetroop and it’s off getting set. It was gorgeous and I’m glad you’re keeping yours! I have a 1ct one and I loooooooove it. Such an ideal cut in beautiful material!

And I hear you on the lowball offers. Some just make me scratch my head.

I saw that stone...She will be very happy! I’m so glad I’m keeping mine..I actually miss my AVR..but I have a diamond now in the same shape so it would just sit..That would be a shame...The buyer is getting it sized by David now. I can’t wait to see it again..lol...I would have had seller’s remorse if I sold the emerald cut. OMG
The lowball offers were crazy..No way..

I decided to keep it @missy...I don’t know what I was thinking...I love it so much...My thought initially was that I was getting Ashlee which is a combo asscher/emerald cut..so they would be similar. They are so different...As I said below..I would have regretted selling it..

Hi Diamonds R4eVR, I don't know if you're still interested, but I just put my August Vintage Emerald Cut Solitaire up for sale on this forum and diamondbistro! It's a 9.6x7.4mm DEF color I purchased from Jonathan last fall. It's not as quite as sizable as Mamabean's but it definitely makes quite an impact on the hand! Just wanted to put that out there, I'm very motivated to sell as I have another sparkly project planned for my moms upcoming bday gift

That was me that sold it - if she wants to upgrade to something else let me know - I would love to have that stone back. Couldn't think of how to make it work until after I sold it. Now I have a bomb setting idea but no stone. I don't think I can bring myself to pay retail. UGH

surround. Very very deco.

Thank you - that is so nice to offer but I'm stuck on emerald cut at the moment. I thought I was going for a honking center solitaire with baguette sides to recreate a favorite fashion ring but now I'm not sure. The AV stones are so so stunning but expensive and part of me wonders if lab diamond prices are going to come down - I saw a 2 carat lab round L VS2 excellent cut on AVs website for under 2500 today. Knowing myself I won't pull the trigger unless a pre-owned one comes back up.

Hmmmm, have heard back from two different vendors that my moissy with onyx won't work for a few reasons. Heat issues during production and receiving material from overseas now is another. May need to think about a different project.
