Sending all my rain-stopping powers to Houston. (And to the locales where all the other PSers are getting married this weekend).... My FI also has rain stopping powers.. Once, before we were even dating I asked him to make it not rain on a day it was supposed to so my hair would not FREAK OUT.. and HE DID.. So I will get him on the case too.

I''m doing the "No Rain" dance for you in Houston!!! You can send it all up here to Oklahoma for the next week or so!! Do the weather reports give any indication of when the rain is expected? Just wondering because a lot of times we will have a 70% chance of rain but they''ll usually try to predict when the showers will move into the area...

I was just talking to the wife of one of FI''s friends - she said that on their wedding day she woke up at about 7:30am and it was POURING like a freaking monsoon... she was so upset and felt so defeated knowing there was nothing she could do so she went back to sleep... woke up 3 hours later to a bright and sunny day and had a perfect wedding!!

Teebee - That happened to my friend for her wedding as well.. It was just last month, it had been a gorgeous week, and then when we all got there on Friday for the rehearsal it was starting to rain and yucky.. they were calling for rain all day saturday.. It rained a bit in the morning, but by the time noon rolled around.. it had stopped and the sun had come out! They were able to do pictures outside and guests could hang out on the patios at her reception.
So Ginger.. there is hope!

I *think* that Ginger probably had dry skies for her wedding today!!! I'm not sure what time the ceremony was going to be, but where I am in Houston, it stopped raining around 10am! And the rain cooled it down nicely, too!!!

YAY!!! We had thunderstorms all night long here in Oklahoma and I was hoping that my "no rain dance" worked in Houston!

hi ladies! still in maui on my honeymoon but i was checking my e-mail and decided to drop in and thank everyone for their anti-rain dance/vibes/thoughts cuz everything was perfect and beeyootiFUL! yes there were thunderstorms and yes their were sunny skies and YES I AM MARRIED!!!!!! woooooHOOOOOOO!!!!
