I don't think the Binnion half bezel is actually a tension set. But it gets a lot of the look and is absolutely gorgeous.

Here is my tension set ring. A 5 point diamond bezeled in platinum and tension set in Damascus steel from Studio Vincent. The Damascus steel has to be fairly thick to work in a tension setting. It's not Mokume, but has the swirls. This is a sample ring that I picked up when they discontinued the style where the diamond is bezeled in precious metal. I was fortunate that it was exactly my size and said "buy me".
