Hi Friends,

I bought an inexpensive 14k fixed-pendant 5-prong basket necklace, with a cz in it, as a way to test whether I'd be happy with that kind of setting and get a lot of wear out of it. So far, it's pretty comfortable, so I'm now looking for a 5mm to 6mm stone to pop into it. 5mm to 5.5mm would fit best.

Budgeting about $100 for something pretty for summer.

Does anyone have a natural stone around that measurement they wish to rehome? Not looking for anything too precious. Maybe an amethyst? A pale emerald? Maybe a labradorite? A beginner-level pale sapphire, even? Alternatively, a small round shell, or piece of coral or an opal would work.

If you know of any links to pretty stones, please share?

Thanks in advance!

I have a precision cut green sapphire that’s approximately 5.25mm round x 3.7mm deep. It‘s what I would call a forest green and I think it’s prettier in person than in my pictures. My camera was causing the darker shadowing. If you’re interested just let me know how to reach you. It would be under your budget.

I have some natural, unheated Tanzanian zircon 5mm rounds that I bought for a project but haven't used. They range from colorless to light brown. I don't have any pics with me here at work, but they're pretty stones - SUPER dispersive!! Definitely well under your budget

@musicloveranthony I'd love to see some pics of the Zircons, if you have time?

I hope this link will take you over to my Etsy account:

The link worked and I just sent you a message :))

Small update: so, it turns out that I'm an idiot and after removing the cz (which measures 6.2mm and 3.7mm deep) I need to look for a stone that is about 5.8mm

Sorry to have been an annoyance. Thanks for your patience with me, friends.

Oh shoot! The zircon wouldn't fit that. I'll look through my collection when I get home. I have sooo many stones I'll never use :loopy: would rather see them be used for something
