Lg, HHP - they are definitely of a higher quality than my run-of-the-mill akoyas. I haven't seen top of the line akoyas though (or blue, for which my purse is probably grateful! ) so I couldn't comment on that difference. I will admit that I find the idea of a pearl full of nacre rather appealing, vs. just a layer. Which probably makes pearl connoisseurs cringe

Fly - I have big ears! I envy those with little elfin lobes..

ccn - these metallic studs are - really something else. And they're only a little bit more than the regular freshadamas - shockingly affordable...
