Thanks to JulieN for finding this diamond.... Now I'm pumped

Feel way more comfortable with this diamond because of the AGS Cert, Specs especially the "Cut Above" Ideal Cut, Documentation, Pics provided to me. Soooo I decreased the CT size and upgraded the Quality!

10000 times more confident in the diamond above than my first experience with a different vendor below....

BUYER BEWARE; the jeweler I was introduced to initially, when I viewed my first diamond in Toronto, was located in the "diamond building" at Dundas Sq in Toronto (AAA Diamonds to be exact). She offered a princess cut, "about" a 1.0ct, G, VS1, Very Good cut with a pave 14k white gold setting for $5000 all in. With no certification and I could use the "gemologist" in the same building to cert. the stone and provide the "exact" specs... I called this gemologist on my own and asked what kind of lab cert he would issue... he did not provide a direct answer, so I asked again and he said; "We are all GIA graduates, but GIA does not certify in Canada....ah so we are GemScan." Which was a total lie, there are GIA cert labs in Toronto. There were RED flags everywhere with this vendor, but initially I gave the benefit of doubt to them... Then I smartened up!!!! On further research I learned, the same appraiser was the subject of an RCMP investigation and subsequent raid on his office in 2008. This guy was accused of having Blood Diamonds and/or Illicit Diamonds smuggled into the country.

Momma was right, if it's too good to be true it usually is!

I think the WF stone is beautiful! And wow, I can't believe that other vendor!!!!! I'm glad you came to PS and didn't end up going with them.
