8ct vs 7ct

Hi,
I bought a 7ct lab diamond. 12.98x9.34 ex ex E VS1. I then saw exactly the ring I wanted but the center is an 8ct 14.07 x 9.98. My question is will I notice the difference between the stones in the same setting?
The stone I bought for 1600, to go up to 8ct with be another 1200…seems like a lot of money unless I’ll see a difference.
I attached the ring I loved and my stone taped to my finger for comparison.

Just want to say that I really like the proportions of your current stone sitting on your finger. Very flattering shape and size on your hand and I think it would look great in that type of setting.
