A big fat amethyst pear

Gorgeous! It’s a very simple design but you executed it with care and the result is obviously high quality. I like the little details, like the angle on the end wires and the pinch at the point of the basket.

I thought about making a fancy bail, but a simple design won in the end.
That pinch is the result of using four prongs instead of three. I didn't want a prong obscuring the tip of the pear.
Not to mention that during the setting process, I might've damaged the delicate tip. And then I would've cried.

Now I need to dig out my "Brides of Dracula" dress.

I won't lie, it was a bit tricky.
I used tiny pallions of solder in those joints.
It's easy to apply too much heat and warp the wire, so I was extra careful.

The extra care and attention most definitely shows.
