A GREAT Jewelry Week!!!! WF ACA studs and an Ebel watch!!!

First, I decided to go ahead and replace my old ACA studs which I gave to my daughter who got married in December. I was going to wait until later in the year, but all the talk of rising diamond prices gave me a good excuse to go ahead and get some! These are .65 each, G VS WhiteFlash ACA's! I thought they'd be a good everyday size but still small enough to use jackets if I want to dress them up a bit. Thanks to Traci and Vera for their help! They are so beautiful just as I expected!!!

Then, I decided to go to a local jeweler to see if they would trade my old pre-PS studs toward some other jewelry item. Well, they were having a sale on their Ebel watches which I have always loved, and that settled it! I got a beautiful Ebel Brasilia with mother-of-pearl dial and diamond bezel.

Soooo, here are a couple of great pics from WF and a few dismal ones from me (who doesn't have the patience to take a million pictures to get a few good ones)!

Yes, in a way is was a delayed Christmas because with the wedding, we were too busy to buy any gifts for each other. Plus, our anniversary was the day after Christmas, so you could say these are delayed 2010 Christmas and anniversary gifts! May as well justify them somehow!

Gypsy, yes, I still really love my Longines watches and really did not even think of getting another watch. In fact, the Ebel watch is a lot like the Longines Dolce Vita, except I have the DV without diamonds. That one is still my everyday watch, so I'll try to keep the new Ebel watch and the other Longines for other times. I am officially done with watches now, that is for sure!
