Hello everyone,

I happened to find a diamond with this weird combination (maybe it is not weird actually, but it IS to me since I am such a newbie in this field)

1.77carat, HCA 1.0(4EX)
actual dimensions : 7.88-7.92x4.74mm
Proportions
Depth: 59.9%
Table: 58%
Crown Angle: 33.5°
Crown Height: 14%
Pavilion Angle: 41°
Pavilion Depth: 43.5%
Star Length: 50%
Lower Half: 80%
Girdle: Thin to Medium, Faceted (3.0%)
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None

The combination of depth and table seems very unusual to me. Though HCA looks so great, I am quite worried about it's fire. It has such a big table, and might do a poor job in being fiery which I care most. I DO want to buy a blingbling sparkly stone than a one which looks big but no fire. What is your thoughts? Really appreciate your reply!

Should be fine. 58% is really not "such a big table."

looks good to me! Maybe a bit shallow, but a 1.0 on the HCA is definitely something I'd keep!

Thanks guys for your replies! What is your opinion on it's fire? Is there any big possibility for it to be very shining?

It's not weird - numbers are just fine, by the numbers it promises to be a bright and sparkly stone ::) Post the IS.
