A little sapphire cab

Well.
I just had a horrible jewelry mishap.
I was all ready to show you guys the beautiful bypass ring I made today with the sapphire and emerald.
I took it out to the garage to the buffing wheel for one final polish.
The spinning wheel ripped the ring out of my hand and it went flying. I heard "clink clink clank".....and now I have no idea where it is. I got down on my hands and knees with a flashlight and found the loose sapphire under the SUV.
Of course it's night time, and the overhead light is not that bright.
So it's in the garage somewhere, probably bent, and who knows if the emerald is still in it.
I'll eventually find it......then it's back to the drawing board

This has happened to me before, and it's so frustrating!

Well.

As long as the gems are safe, you can always rework the ring! A drag for sure, but I've no doubt it'll work out in the end, and you'll have a beautifully handcrafted piece, as always.
