A New Pendant!

I just brought home my first purchase from WF!

This is the halo bezel pendant form WF. My dh and I had it made for his daughter''s wedding present. Here is the pic that WF sent me last night. Will try to get more pics taken later.

Specs: White gold with a .47ct blue sapphire and diamonds

Thank you all for the compliments. My Dh and I are extremely happy with how it turned out. Bob Hoskins and the rest of the staff at WF were awesome to work with. My only concern was getting the right color blue for the sapphire. Bob made sure of that. I totally trusted his judgement in choosing the perfect colored gem. And he did that!

As this pendant was a last minute thought (I couldn''t find anything local that cost reasonably and the diamonds didn''t look like frozen spit). They had it made and delivered on time on short notice. Can''t beat that service.

julesbeth: Oh, I''m sure that I''m not sure future MIL.

We both hope that this pendant will become an heirloom and she will pass on to her chidren and grandchildren on their wedding day.

Hi all:

A little update with pics. Better late than never. See here for story.

Update:

We went back to the East Coast as planned. While visiting my step-daughter, she showed her dad and I her wedding attire. She had bought a very lovely swarworski crsytal necklace to match her gown. Well, we figure that although she doesn''t wear the pendant on her wedding day, she will always have part of her dad all the time.

Went to lovely restaurant where we presented the pendant to her. She was teary eyed and was certaintly surprised with the generous and beautiful gift. She couldn''t wait to put it on, it suited her perfectly.

Anyways, we went on our merry way and headed to Niagara Falls on Friday. She got married on Saturday. It was still disappointing that we couldn''t be there to share their day with them but we did what was best.

We met up with them on Sunday. They told us all about the wedding and that she wore the pendant. She told us she got a tonne of compliments on the necklace. Thanks WF!

Anyways, we both feel good about ourselves and were glad that we made the trip and had given her the pendant afterall.

That is just as pretty as it was the first time I saw it! I remember your story, and I am so sorry that you weren''t able to attend the wedding, it''s just so heartbreaking. I''m sure if was crushing for your daughter as well.. I think your decision to still present her with the pendant was a very generous one. There is so much sentiment behind your gesture; very heartfelt.
