Skippy123: I loved the color. I was little apprehensive initially when I was trying to describe the color to Bob at WF but he knew exactly the color I wanted. He certainly found the perfect one.

Its so uplifting to hear the end of this story! I think its lovely that you made the trip, gave her the necklace and that she WORE it (and had a bit of *dad/stepmom* with her on her special day.) Parents sacrifice a lot for their kids and I think you all did the right thing given the situation she found herself in with the other family members. You took the high road all around. KUDOS. The proper reward should be a necklace of your own.
