Glad to hear that your husband is on the path to recovery.

Beautiful setting choice for your stone.
21.gif
I agree, I think the tapering will make the RB ''pop'' when you look at it!
Hi Equestrienne ~
emrose.gif

Thanks for your thoughts!

I think not only will the setting make my diamond "pop", it will also help draw the eye upward and be flattering to my "real estate challenged fingers"!

hi Mrs Darlin Joy,

Glad your hubby is doing better.

As for the stone-- LOVE the brilliantscope on your stone. Glad you have found THE setting for you-- I think it''s really important that it speaks to you bc you will be enjoying it everyday. Can''t wait to see that beauty on your hand!!

Good luck and best wishes for you and your hubby.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Yes, as far as the stone ...

When Jonathan emailed me and said that he had found an incredible diamond, and it was just under budget ... I thought "KEWL!"
36.gif

And then when I was looking at all the reports and info, I started smiling, and then I clicked to load up the Bscope image ... My Jaw litterally hit the desk!
30.gif
I thought "holy~moly batman!"

I think it''s pretty incredible and I am very excited to see it in person.

Have a super weekend!

Mrs DJ I am so sorry for your recent trouble and will be praying for you and your Husband - so glad he is making a good recovery.

As to the setting it is identical to mine, although mine is in yellow gold with a WG head and double prongs. The tapering band is one of my favourite things about it and I know you will be pleased with it - it''s a classic!

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers to ... I appreciate it!

This is amazing that it''s the same setting style! Did I miss your pic''s of your ring in one of the threads?? I would love to see it if you have any pics ... "Hand shots"

The double prongs sounds very romantic
emlove.gif
... I bet it is scrumptious!

Mrs Darling Joy, I''m sorry to hear about your husband. I''m so glad that he''s doing better! The stone and the setting both look beautiful, and I can''t wait to see pictures of how it all turns out.
Hi Blenheim ~

Thank you for your thoughts.

I want to see how it turns out too! Getting excited I am!

I will try to find a pic of what the bands look like.

Have a great day!

wow, the stone & the setting are going to look scrumptious!
I love, love, love that setting.

And I so glad to hear your husband is recuperating. You''ve been through a tough time, both of you.
hugs & prayers for you-

Mrs. DJ, I am glad to hear that you are cautiously optimistic with DH. Being a nurse, that bodes well. However, I will keep both of you in my prayers because help from the Man Upstairs couldn''t hurt.

I think that your new rings are going to be gorgeous, and I can''t wait for hand pics. That B-scope rocks.

Glad to hear your Hubby is doing better - sending positive thoughts his direction.
Hope he's well very soon.

The ring looks looks great MS. Darlin Joy - It like it very much.
It reminds me A LOT of my setting, I wish I'd seen it before I went custom.
When you have time hand pics would be greatly appreciated.

Scintillating...

I was thinking, and it is similar to the Cartier ... the difference that I see goes back to the tapered shoulders. Otherwise ... I do think they look similar at a quick glance.

Hi Dbgaap ~

Thanks for the prayers, I appreciate it!

Honestly, I love detailed heads ... that is one reason why I really liked the lockes ring.
It was a lil'' more than difficult trying to find a head that I liked as well as DH. It was a slight challenge ... but it looks like patience is going to pay off. I also had to find something that my two rings would sit next to, the rings sit up about maybe 2mm high ... so finding something that would work ... well this is the best setting that I could find that will work the best.

Here is a pic of a wedding band that is pretty similar to what I have. The only differnce is that it is half eternity, not full. It resembles the Tiffany Legacy pave ring.

Each ring has 15 diamonds across, and tcwt each ring is about 1/4 - 1/3 I VS1.

I think it will look fine ... I worried about mixing clean classic lines with two pave milgrained diamond bands, but I think when I get them I will be happy with the look. I hope it comes across as clean & classy meets hopefull romantic!

Hi Shay ~

Yes, very cautious! You know how you have to be strong when your working with paitents, and things start to go downhill, you have to hold it together to support the family ... well, I can do fine at work ... it''s more difficult when your on the other end! Thanks for keeping us in your prayers ... because I realize that modern medicine only goes so far, and in the end ... help from the Great One above does help!
2.gif

You know, I am still just amazed at the Bscope image ... man it''s amazing!!! Jon rocks!!!

Thanks, and have a wonderful day!

Hi Allycat ~
emrose.gif

It''s a very hard place to be when someone you love is very ill. No amount of crying, worrying, or sleepless nights will help them get better. That''s when you have to give it all to the Great One Above ... and pray that it is his will for your loved one to get better and remain with us. It''s a very hard place to be ... having no control over the situation, and as he does get slowly better, I am cautious, as the road to a full recovery could be a long one. Thank you for the positive thoughts, they are appreciated!
2.gif

I love the pic''s too, I am a lil'' nervous ... I am sure when I see it ... I will be drooling!

I get the wedding bands next week from being sized. I had to go to another bigger city to get it accomplished, but I am excited to see them next week, and then I will send them to Richard in FL ... who will be doing the appraisal of the stone, ering, and my wedding bands.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead!

First, not to pry at all, but how is he at this point? I am so scared for YOU and your dh for all you went through. I am happy he is on the road to recovery... makes nothing else in the world seem important!

BUT...since he is getting better, tee hee...on to some fun sparklies, hey why not?

I think the ring is going to be a stunner and I love the band. What are the details of the stone? Is it an upgrade? WOW is all I can say, and enjoy it! I will continue to pray for your dh to bounce back even better than before!

So happy to hear that your DH is recovering well. That must have been such a scary experience.
