To answer some of the questions;
My ring is 15 mm all the way around and its made of 14k white gold.
I love the wider bands and 50 years ago they were the in style.
Here is a picture of Deborah Shelton in a film clip that I found.
My daughter recently became engaged, and revived a two carat ring I will show some photos then I get a chance.

I just love wide bands. Now that i'm getting married, me and my husband are planning to get 10mm wide domed yellow gold rings. Could you post some more pictures of your yellow gold ring like in this thread's first posts:

Btw, the ring on Deborah Sheltons hand is gorgeous. I have just seen the movie (Double Body) a couple of months ago and noticed it there.
