Hockeyguy: Ally is in my thoughts a lot. I hope the next few days bring a strong signs of progress and good news. Please let Ally know that all of Pricescope is pulling for her!

Take care of yourself.

I''m so sorry to hear this is happening. Sending all good thoughts for ally''s recovery

i have been away from PS for a while now and just saw this..i am so so so sorry that you and Ally are going thru this
7.gif
shes such a fighter and a strong lady that she''ll get thru this like she does with everything else..sending you lots of prayers and good wishes to u and the family!

Just wanted to stop by and saying Im praying and hoping for Ally to make a good recovery..

Please do make sure you take care of yourself... I know its hard to sleep when you are worried about your loved one, but you do need rest and food....

Also, I dont know if you already have, but maybe bring a favorite something of Ally''s to the hospital to put next to her. When my mom was recently in the hospital... now as bad a car accident as Ally''s we brought her a few of her favorite things and it made her feel a little better. Also I know weird and probably the last thing... but chapstick :-)

Lots of get well dust and hugs!!

Stay positive! The human body is an amazing thing... My grandfather was literally on the brink of death and we all went to the hospital to say goodbye... He hung in there for a month on a respirator, got a staph infection on TOP of things, and then magically pulled out of it!! He''s still here with us an it''s a miracle. Ally will pull through, just have faith.

My heart goes out to you, Ally, and all of her friends and family.

Sending thoughts and prayers your way!

Sorry for the delay in updating, I haven't been home since my last post. Last night she started having fever, and there were signs of meningitis so they started the treat her with 2 antibiotics. It seems that things are getting worst instead of better. They have not removed the tube yet. She opens her eyes when you say her name, but she quickly falls asleep again. She hasn't spoken yet, but I think that might be because of the tube. And the fact that she stays awake for only a few seconds. She will have a scan done on Monday. The doctors said that there were no signs of permanent damage in the physical exam, but it's impossible to say that everything will be fine until she stays awake long enough for them to properly assess her. I'm angry that they seem reluctant to make any definitive statements at this point. But I am trying very hard to stay patient. Thank you for taking the time to post messages. I know she would feel grateful knowing that people are thinking of her.
I know it's hard, but they don't want to say anything definitive, because they simply don't know for sure at this point. And they don't want to say something, only to have it end up not being the case. They are covering themselves as much as anything. That is typical/normal. Things sound promising though, so just hang in there, and talk to her, even if you're not sure she's hearing you, because she very well may. Talk about positive things, and keep telling her how much you love her. That's some of the best medicine there is.

Prayers continuing. And thanks so much for updating us, we really do appreciate it.

HG, thank you so much for the update! Please give Ally all our love, and let her know we''re praying for her. Try to get some rest yourself, and please check back in to update us whenever you can. ((((HUGS))))

Again HG,thanks for the update. I said another prayer for some improvement in her condition this morning and I''m gonna keep praying until there is a breakthrough. I''m fairly new here but I see how much Alley is Loved here and that''s enough to keep me on my knees for her. Also know that I am praying for your family as well.

~Stay Strong.

Thinking about you tonight, Ally, and sending *LOTS* of get well vibes and prayers your way. Thank you for the update, HG.

although i do not know you or aly; I deeply empathize with your situation. I know the anxieties and frustrations and comes with the unknown. I am hoping for the best for you.

HockeyGuy:
Ally took the time on December 3rd to post to a thread regarding a health issue I'm dealing with. I thought I should "send it back" to her, as it is totally appropriate in her situation now as well.
Prayers to all of you.
LS

Lost Sapphire:

I'm thinking of you. Hope you get some good news soon! Keep us updated. And in the mean time, continue being as strong and postive as you ALWAYS are. We're all here rooting for you.

And back at you, dear Ally.
LS

My prayers and thoughts are with you and Ally at this time. She is fortunate to have you HG. Stay strong and be there for her.

My baby woke up tonight. They took the tube out because she started to come around slowly and was resisting it a lot. She woke up shortly after. Was tired at first but seemed normal enough (was sick, and told me she had a little headache). She was weak. She''s embarrassed because she has done many rotations at this hospital so it kind of freaks her out that people have seen her so sick. She asked about my Dad so I know she remembers. Actually I''m home because she sent me home. She said I needed to take a nap because I looked tired. Everything moves right. Aside from the headache, she says she is seeing double and the doctor said there might have be some swelling of some part of her eyes which might indicate some increase in pressure. They will know more after the brain scan tomorrow.

We talked a bit, mostly about my Dad, because she wanted to know what happened when they met the doctor on Friday. She asked me if I had ordered her wedding band. Random???? The first thing I did when I got home was send an email to Pearlman''s ordering a wedding band. I don''t know if it''s what she wanted but I ordered one anyways.

And I told her I wrote on the forum for luck. She told me to tell everyone, thank you for the good thoughts, and she really is fine. I am starting to really believe in this good luck charm of hers. I am so relieved.

awesome news!!!
Prayers continue!!

Thanks for the update. It''s good to hear that Ally is awake and alert. We are keeping her in our thoughts and sending lots of luck
