put the deposit down for the diamond and ring (thank you Matt and Sarah from Goodoldgold!!) and we are rushing to get it here by Christmas.

and the setting is based off of the tiffany legacy. I've requested single cut melee in a platinum setting. They suggested that the diamonds go down about 3/4 of the way down the ring to individualize it as well which i LOVE and it will make it look like the diamonds go all the way around. I went with the AVC because of it's uniquness; added to a ring that is vintage in style i felt it looks amazing. I want this to be an heirloom, and i think i'm off to a great start.
on the inside i'm hoping to add an inscription: "It is only because of you"
THEN on the wedding band to be ordered later will be the rest of the quote "that I know what Love is."
so it's only when the 2 rings are together that the quote is complete; but the half of the quote on the engagement ring stands on it's on. (not gonna tell her about the other half of the quote until we're at the alter.
yes totally cheesy but i love it.
I'll definately take pictures when I recieve it, but for now the anticipation is overwhelming.
