Hello everyone,

I am looking for a cushion stone that is colorless and has a good light performance. Thus I narrow to H&A ( I assume the modified cushion brilliant doesn't have a great light performance than H&A. Correct me if I'm wrong. ) James Allen has H&A cushion but not so pretty as Brian Gavin.

I have 4 questions since I am new to Brian Gavin.

1 BG has 2 H&A cushion collections. Both are H&A. What's the difference?
1) Brian Gavin Select
2) Brian Gavin Hearts & Arrows.

2 The certified date of those stones is kinda old. Could this be an issue, such as recycled stone? Here are some examples.
Description, GIA/AGS date, Link
1) 1.010 H VS2, 1/3/2018, https://www.briangavindiamonds.com/1.010-h-vs2-cushion-diamond-gia-5181989253

3 Which looks best to you? The first 3 have a good ASET scope image. Not sure why color of no 4 is not so vivid.

4 I heard cushion better has 65:65 table and deep. But I can barely find a stone like that. Is 65:65 a wrong concept?

Any other advice? Thank you so much!

BGD has extremely strict and the highest of standards. I would not be concerned about dates. If for any reason they were stones upgraded for others, Brian is very strict about having stones sent back to AGS for inspection. If a stone requires any repolishing whatsoever, that is done and the stone is then sent back to AGS for regrading. As for his cushions, he is one (if not “thee” one) to develop the precision cutting for high performance cushions. I know he has some patents and one may in fact be for the super ideal cushions, I can’t recall. I believe the website explains the difference between the categories of their stones but if you need clarification give them a call and ask for Lesley. She is amazing. You will NOT be disappointed with a BGD.
