Hi all! I've been on quite a decision journey lately! I found my center stone and thought I was dead set on a solitaire setting (the Vatche U113), but then I realized I've never owned any knife-edge rings and I just would prefer more of a "comfort fit". Furthermore, I had been planning to do a seven stone shared prong band as my wedding band, and I was worried that the wedding band would then need a spacer so the diamond girdles didn't hurt the engagement ring. Soooo here I am, back asking for everyone's wonderful advice again!
I've decided that I think I would love a three stone e-ring. I want my modern RB center stone to be the star (9.7mm) and I also want to make sure the three stones together will not go over the sides of my finger. I know I'll want the side stones slightly angled to help accomplish this (but I don't want them to be tucked under the center stone too much). My finger size is a size 7. That being said, I have the following questions:
- What size side stones should I look for?
- I love the look of this setting - which vendor can I get to make a modified version? I would love for WF to do it, but they won't work with supplied stones. I wonder if they'd make an exception because I'd need to buy the sidestones still? The modifications I would like are: made to hold round versus ovals, non-hollow shank, "unmerge" the shank from the two sides of the side stones, YG shank, and plat head/prongs.

- Do you think this setting would still look good even though the side stones will be much smaller than the center stone? What I love most about this setting is the six prongs on the center (that looks like the Vatche U113 head) and the three prongs on the side stones.
I'd appreciate all advice! Thank you!
