I want something that I will feel good about every day. So bright color are out. I think a champagne color would go well with almost everything but I didn't want to rule out the brownish or peachy, ice blue colors because I am not seeing "my stone" anywhere if that makes sense? I was never that person who knew what they wanted in their head for years so I am starting basically at zero and nailing things down as I see them. I can't even find when there will be a gem show locally I just want to see them in person haha. I ALMOST wish I didn't care and could just say I want something plain and simple but that wouldn't represent me very well hahah. Maybe I am asking too much from a ring
You're not asking too much.
I had no idea what I wanted either. I wanted a sapphire, but then I wanted something unusual, and then I convinced myself I wanted a light bluish-green one, and I looked and looked and looked until one day I randomly stumbled onto one that smacked me in the face and made me buy it. And it was much, much darker than what I *thought* I wanted. So - at this stage it's fine to be all across the board. Look at lots of stuff - look at the videos on natural sapphire company even if you don't want to buy there. Look at all the vendors on the list above. Look at all the stones, even ones not suitable for an e-ring. At some point you will note a pattern
And if you can swing it, it's totally ok to order stones just to see them. Most of the vendors have a great return policy, and sending stones out and then taking them back is a pretty expected part of the business
