Hi everyone
Longtime lurker, first-time poster!
I would really appreciate your collective wisdome on a purchase I am contemplating. I am not super experienced with settings as you are, and as I am in Australia I can't visit IDJ in person.
I have 4.6mm basket set studs, and would like to add some jackets. I love the look of these ones: https://idjewelry.com/0-66-ct-f-gsi2-diamond-earring-jackets-set-in-14k-white-gold-e4490-5mm.html . This is exactly the style I am drooling over! And of course I know IDJ are highly regarded on PS and do incredible work, so I'm very keen on them.
Yael very kindly sent me a video of how 4.6mm studs would look in these jackets (5mmm internal diameter) and thought they were a perfect fit, but I am not sure if it's just the angle of the video or if I am not experienced at seeing how studs and jackets look together, but I think I can see quite a lot of the stud setting. I don't mind a bit of airline but am concerned this is too much!
I would appreciate your views on whether this is a good fit or whether I should ask if they can make a smaller pair (these are already pushing the budget esp with shipping). I attach some screenshots from the video below.
